Rental Terms: Greece
Payment:
A deposit is required when you book, and the balance is paid locally at the rental station.
Cards accepted for deposit / responsibility at the rental office:
American Express, Master Card, Visa, Diners
Payment for this reservation can only be made by credit card. Car rental agents require the driver to present a valid credit (not debit) card in their name to the rental office. This is due to the deposit that needs to be held on the credit card until the vehicle is returned as long as the car has not been damaged or stolen. Always make sure your credit card has sufficient balance at the time of rental. The mandated amount is generally the cost of security and fuel deposit, but varies depending on the size of the vehicle, the age of the driver, the length of the rental and the pick-up location.
In the event that you fail to provide a valid credit card or lack of sufficient funds on your credit card, the car rental agent may refuse to release the vehicle. In such cases, no amount already paid will be refunded.
Driver Age:
The minimum driver age to rent a vehicle is 20 years old and may vary depending on the vehicle category.
Maximum age is 75 years.
Driving License Conditions:
Possession of a full European or International Driving License is required, obtained at least two years prior to the rental, and valid at the time of rental and until its completion.
An International Driving Permit is not required for license holders from the following countries:
- From a member state of the European Union
- United Kingdom of Great Britain and N. Ireland, Norway, Iceland, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, USA, Canada, Australia
- Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bahamas, Bahrain, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Central African Republic, Chile, Costa Rica, Ivory Coast, Cuba, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ecuador, Georgia, Ghana, Guyana, Holy See, Indonesia, Iran, Israel, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Liberia, Mexico, Moldova, Monaco, Mongolia, Montenegro, Morocco, Niger, Pakistan, Peru, Philippines, Republic of Korea, Russian Federation, San Marino, Senegal, Serbia, Seychelles, South Africa, Tajikistan, Thailand, North Macedonia, Tunisia, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, Uruguay, Uzbekistan, Venezuela, Zimbabwe.
When picking up the vehicle, it is necessary to show a police ID or passport for identification.
Border Restrictions
Vehicles are not allowed to cross the Greek border.
Pick Up Time:
Your vehicle will remain available for up to two hours after the agreed collection time, you must contact us if you are going to collect it after this time.

The vehicle comes with unlimited mileage. - Third Party Liability Insurance
Third Party Liability Insurance (Civil Liability) is provided in accordance with current legislation.

Your booking includes all taxes as well as delivery charges to preferred locations.
Advances / Guarantees
Warranty
The amount sanctioned/collected is mainly the damage waiver amount and the fuel guarantee. The credit card must be issued in the name of the primary driver.
Refunds
The amount corresponding to any unused rental period is not refunded or credited for future use.
Additional Drivers
Any additional drivers are arranged and paid locally and are not included in the basic rental price.
Additional drivers must present a passport (or police ID card) or 2 forms of alternative identification in addition to a driver’s license.
Minimum/maximum driver age restrictions also apply to additional drivers.
Fuel
Fuel is paid for by the customer and the vehicle must be returned with the same amount of fuel as received. Any difference is paid locally.
This is paid locally by you.
- Fines and Penalties
You are responsible for the cost of any fines or other penalties incurred during your rental of the vehicle. The rental supplier will pass the relevant charge on to you plus any handling charges. - Out-of-hours billing
Out-of-hours service (ie between 17:00 and 07:30) is available at an additional charge. - Late Return of the vehicle:
If the vehicle is returned later than the time stated on the voucher, the supplier will charge you for the delay.
Special Orders:
Special orders are available upon request and are subject to availability and seasonal changes and are provided by location. Fulfillment of special orders is not guaranteed. A security deposit is required for most locations.
- Child / Baby Seats:
Child / Infant Seats are available for an additional fee (Customer must specify the age of the child and are only fitted by the parent or guardian). The charge is €10 per day - Additional Guides:
The cost for each additional driver is €5.00 per day and per driver
Liability Exemption with Exemption Amount:
The company provides exemption:
- For category A €500
- For category B €500
- For motorcycles 300€
**Please note that damage to the interior of the car, such as keys, antennas, etc. are not covered unless caused by an accident. For this reason, despite the additional insurances, our partner can reserve an amount of up to 200 euros for the damages that are not covered.
Theft Protection (TP)
Included in the rental cost, in case of theft or fire you must call the police and report the incident immediately, then submit a copy of the police report along with the rental contract and vehicle keys to the rental company. The insurance cover does not indemnify you in case of partial theft or damages caused by attempted theft (deductible amount applies). The Theft Insurance cover does not apply beyond the rental period agreed with the local rental company. For more details regarding this insurance cover, please contact the rental station where you will pick up your vehicle.
Cancellation Policy
If the customer cancels 21 days before delivery, he is entitled to a full refund. Otherwise, he loses the advance he has paid.
